Play Fitness has specifically designed the pond pack to promote active lifestyles in schools and to help develop children’s personal and social development. Children will experience the use of a gym and naturally develop physical and gross motor skills, such as balance, upper/lower body coordination and reactions whilst enjoying all the Pond Pack features. We also provide an excellent educational pack for children to learn all about nature and wildlife around the pond.

The Pond Pack is designed for ages 3-7 and offers a fun, engaging and interactive zone for playgrounds promoting fitness and active play.

Firefly Reaction

This game is fast paced and fun, it requires the player to react quickly to each flashing firefly light by touching the sensors and turn as many of them off in the time allowed. This is great to play on your own or as a team to compete against one another. The game features a narrated start and final score announcement and musical notes for user feedback during play. All the power required to run the game is generated by the user winding the rotor.

Constructed from hard-wearing HDPE it will not rot, crack or fade in UV.

Lily Pad Spinning Stepping Stones

The spinning pads are great for balance, coordination and timing.

Dragonfly Spring Seesaw

The dragonfly hovers over the pond on sets of springs, it is suitable for up to two children at a time, this encourages teamwork and helps to develop their balance and coordination skills.

Foot Rower

The fish focuses on exercising the legs, its design is similar to a reclining exercise bike with seat and hand bar to correct posture. The pedals for the feet move the legs around in a circular motion, this helps to strengthen the leg muscles, helps with timing and coordination and can prepare them for when they come to ride their own bike.

Frog Hand Rower

The frog focuses on exercising the arms. It has a seat for posture and pedals for the hands to move the arms in a circular motion, this helps with coordination and helps develop muscles in the arms and wrists.

Sit-in Rower

The duck focuses on exercising the arms, it has a seat and hand wheels at each side that can be spun around in a circular motion.

This helps with coordination in the wrists, arms and shoulders as well as improving circulation.

Bull Reed Spinner

This adds an element of thrill into the pond pack as the children can enjoy the speed and movement from the spinner. It improves physical development, develops balance and encourages teamwork.

Log Tunnel

The multi coloured tunnel is a great addition to the pond pack, it offers a fun and interactive way to play. The structure gives children a way to exercise that differs from the other pieces – crawling through the tunnel can enhance physical activity and develop their gross motor skills. The tunnel is also large enough to create a den.
