Play Fitness has developed a range of innovative fitness systems for infant children that combine fun with a cardiovascular workout to produce an environment which is both stimulating and physically challenging.

We have developed this range in the hope of tackling the growing problem of childhood obesity. Children are not meeting the internationally recommended levels of physical exercise and research has shown that children are entering senior school without basic movement skills that are needed to take part in physical activity effectively. This has led to 39% of children across the UK having a negative attitude towards being physically active by the age of 11.

We have already created an outdoor gym for children aged 7 -11, this time we aim to target younger children from ages 3 -7.

Our equipment has been developed with safety in mind as all of our infant equipment stations have been designed and made in the UK.

5 A Day

The 5-a-Day play panel features a back mounted rotating disc, which can be spun from the bottom. When spun it lands on one of five activities to do. This includes:

Run on the spot
Touch toes
Star jumps
Balance on one leg
Hop on one leg

The activities encourage a fun way to introduce physical activity, teamwork and help them to follow instructions.

The X Reactions is an electronic light and sound sequence game. It is great for testing your reaction times and generates some healthy competition whilst playing as a group, trying to beat each other's score.

It has voice narrated scoring. Can be wall or post mounted.

Available for indoor or outdoor use.

Warning - this is very addictive!

Wobble Board

This can be used in various ways, by either standing on and balancing or holding the top of the board with both hands and jump over either side. This helps to develop balance and coordination.

Tangle Play Panel with Posts

This is one of our most popular and challenging multi player pieces. You spin the arrow and follow each instruction that it lands on in correspondence with the coloured discs. This is a great team game which helps to strengthen balance and coordinate the body with the brain.

Turbo Racer Play Panel with Posts

Users spin the wheel, then hop, skip or run to the number it lands on. The slider can be moved along until you reach 10. This can be played in twos. This introduces physical activity, teamwork and helps to follow instructions.
